Tragedy in Minnesota-Still in Shock

Hey readers,
I will be taking a small blogging hiatus due to the incident on the I 35W bridge in Minneapolis. No, I wasn’t on it. But I could have been at any point. I’ve travelled that bridge 100’s if not 1,000’s of times. I’ve stood right on it blocking traffic for my previous security job on the set of the movie ‘Untamed Heart’ in 1993. Rent that movie. It was filmed almoest entirely in the vicinity of that bridge. Didn’t think any of this would happen. I thought the Hennepin Ave bridge was worse than this bridge. I know several people who were heading in that direction heading over to the Twins game for the evening. A friend’s daughter had just crossed the bridge 1 hour before.
Just trying to make sense of it all.
